U.S. Antimony announces another antimony and silver concession in Mexico

United States Antimony Corporation announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Antimonio de Mexico S. A. de C. V. has the exclusive right to explore and develop another mining concession in the state of Queretaro, Mexico. This brings the total land position to more than 1,778 contiguous acres.

A Mexican Government Monograph has reported a resource of 1,000,000 metric tons having a grade of 1.8% antimony and 8.1 ounces per ton of silver on approximately 627 acres of the block. But, the mineralized zone continues on the other acreage for a distance of 2.8 miles. The width appears to be more than 300 feet, and the thickness appears to be 30 to 50 feet. The higher-grade mineralization will be mined by selective methods, but lower grade silver with some gold mineralization may be mined by bulk methods. More development will be necessary to determine the economics.

A native community has unanimously agreed to provide a flotation mill site at a low cost for an indefinite period. The project could provide employment for 50 people in an area where there are few jobs. The Company is evaluating the feasibility of the site.

Concentrates would be shipped to the USAMSA (a wholly owned subsidiary of Antimonio de Mexico S. A. de C. V) smelter in the State of Coahuila, Mexico, to make various antimony products.

The smelter is expected to be completed by the end of July 2006.
